Designed to dissolve ice crystals in the air brake system, The Brake Releaser® by Milton® can be used to either release already frozen brakes or pre-treat trailers to reduce the risk of froze air brake lines. The Brake Releaser® is great for use with semi-trailers, flatbeds, or any other plaform with an air brake system. Available in two kit versions: The Brake Releaser® Standard Kit and The Brake Releaser® Kit w/ Accessories.

How to Use:

Install The Brake Releaser®
- Evacuate air from trailer brake system.
- Disconnect emergency line glad hand from trailer
- Attach The Brake Releaser® to the trailer glad hand
- Connect tractor emergency glad hand to the Brake Releaser®
- For best results, make sure The Brake Releaser® sits level

Add De-icing Fluid to Frozen Brake Lines
- Remove The Brake Releaser® lid from bowl
- Pour the appropriate deicing solution for your trailer’s brake system into The Brake Releaser® bowl and replace lid
- Turn valve to the “open” position
- Move to cab and engage the trailer air supply to send deicing fluid to frozen brake lines
- Turn valve to the “closed” position

Uninstall The Brake Releaser®
- Move to cab and evacuate air from trailer brake system
- Relieve pressure from the bowl
- Detach The Brake Releaser® from tractor and trailer glad hand connections
- Reconnect the emergency line to trailer, and you’re on your way
